Bug Smasher 123 Posts | I don't know if anyone's familiar with them, but there were two Vector Tanks games released for portable devices (cell phones and the like) in the last couple of years; Battlezone-influenced shoot 'em ups with a vector look to them. I had contacted one of the guys involved with the games in regards to my gaming site, along with using one of the images from the first game as an avatar and he had said of how they were going to try to obtain funds to make Vector Tanks 3 and that he'd contact me about it to post around.
So, that time is now, and here's the page for it:
Vector Tanks 3 pledge drive
Please spread the word around to other gamers and donate if you can. The donation goal (it will be ported to other platforms, rather than just be for portable devices if donations get large enough) and what you can get out of donating certain dollar amounts are shown at the right on the above page. So even if you're like "ehhhh, I've never heard of these games before", but you like games/shooters, DO see what you could receive on the page if you are able to donate, as there's some free goodies involved with it.
Thanks in advance! |

Bug Smasher 123 Posts | Oh, so THAT'S why you suddenly reappeared here!
Well, as per usual, Infogrammes sucks, as they had the two Vector Tanks games removed, citing copyright infringement. Big load of garbage, in case you hadn't heard about it, as Peter H. (I might misspell his last name, so I'll leave it out) steered those games away to being like Battlezone as much as possible, plus he contacted Infogrammes to see about licensing the name from them. He never heard back from them. Bunch of jackasses. |
