One of the items from my wish list finally surfaced and I grabbed it. It cost me a bit, but it was worth it. As far as I know it doesn't have the Co-Power 88 upgrade, but these things come up for sale so rarely that I didn't think it was worth waiting around for. The last one I saw for sale with the Co-Power 88 was the one Curt Vendel sold back in 2003. Now if I can just get my hands on the Corvus hard drive interface that I've been searching for.

I can't believe there's anyone who hasn't heard of and lusted after these back in the day. Their full page ads were in every magazine that had any sort of Atari coverage back then.

Well those were probably in computing magazines, which I didn't look at much back then. I'm familiar with a crapload of Atari ads for the gaming rigs, not the computer ones.

I can't wait for it to get here so I can open it up. You find the darndest thing inside like vintage MFM hard drive controllers or other CP/M related goodies.
