Myst - The Atari Times
Just a mini-review for nowby Gregory D. George
April 12, 2001There are really two kinds of people: Those who hate
Myst, and
those who are a little weird. I guess the graphics are the real star of
this game, because if you're looking for fun gameplay, it surely isn't
here.
Walk around a mysterious island solving puzzles that make absolutely no
sense at all. This Jaguar CD is a perfect port of the PC game and has
some nice graphics, strange sound effects and music. Also just like the
PC version is the fact that this game is just no fun to play.
Thanks to the new format, you'll be getting a full review soon. "It's very pretty Bishop. But what are we looking at here?" You'll be wondering the exact same thing as you plod through this oddly popular game. Myst

A play which is made to dream. Very difficult for the beginning, it is necessary to play there more than five minutes to understand. What the reviewer did not have patience to have.
Attractive, peaceful, subtle, splendid. Also just like the PC version, Myst is a great game.
For many hours trying to like it. I just found it extremely boring. I'll write a more full review at a later date.
It is not simply a game for you. To my mind, it is really a question of taste. For me (and i'm not alone to think that), he deserves more than 90 %.
